About the book
The 1990's are the most active building period in the history of Danish reserach libraries. This period also sees the greatest technological changes within the research libraries since Gutenberg. The planning of the individual building activities has been carried out at different points compared to the phases of this technological porcess of change. Therefore, the Conference of Directors of Research Libraries - an organization of the thirteen largest Danish research libraries, thinks that the experiences from these Danish building activities may be of interest to others.
